Secrets to sports
The website is a tool designed to support coaching and training youth in soccer clubs and schools. Many boys and girls, in rich societies and especially in poor, would like to have access to a skilled and well-experienced coach to develop as athletes and persons. Very few have such access. Similarly, many coaches would like to have better competence as trainers or a better support in doing a sufficiently good job. Secret of sport is designed to meet this need, by giving all young girls and boys the same opportunities to develop their skills in sports independent of social, cultural or geographical background.
The jury was impressed by the wide variety of tools that the website presented: such as the digital library of required soccer competence, the set of design tools (drawings, 2D and 3D) to prepare own practices and situations, the report and statistics module, the planning module and the communication/information opportunities.
